Burglars ignore alarm and steal jewellery from Great Horkesley home

BURGLARS smashed their way into a home in broad daylight ignoring the alarm to steal jewellery.
The bold thieves smashed an upstairs bedroom window of the home on The Causeway, Great Horkesley.
The alarm was set off at 2pm on Friday, August 31.
The occupants were away from noon the previous day until the evening of Sunday, September 2.
PC Bryan Heath said: "We believe the burglary may have occurred around the time of 2pm on Friday August 31, as this was the time the burglar alarm activated.
“However, the keyholder checked it at the time and there were no signs of forced entry.”
