IN TODAY'S GAZETTE: A WOMAN with terminal cancer has been the first to marry in a hospital's chapel.

Toni Hunn, 42, who married fiancee Mark Murphy at Essex County Hospital, said: "Everyone from the doctors down to the porters has been amazing."

* Colchester MP Sir Bob Russell is not amused about a spoof Twitter account pretending to be him.

In the tweets, he apparently talks about events such as going out for curries with fellow Essex MPs - but it is all the work of a prankster.

* The Duke of Kent is visiting Colchester to officially open two new centre.

The Duke, who is the Queen's cousin, will open the Creffield Medical Centre and Wivenhoe House hotel.

* A teenager has been jailed for more than two years for his part in the London riots. Demar Floyd, of Greenfield Houses, Birch, was the ringleader of a gang which smashed its way into shops and stole from them.
