Brightlingsea car show a huge success
2:10pm Tuesday 4th September 2012 in News By Will Lodge
CLASSIC cars were on show in all their glory at Brightlingsea.
Model T Fords, Morris delivery vans and Ford Corsairs were just some of those show off by their proud owners.
There was also a fete, performances by dancers and bands, and a dog show.
It was organised by the local Scout group.
Youngsters also enjoyed another form of horse power – with pony rides around the Lower Park playing field.
Money generated from the event will support the 4th Brightlingsea Scout Group.
John Fisher, one of the organising committee, said: “It went really well and hopefully we took quite a bit of money for the Scouts.
“Some owners came from as far afield as Southend and Dagenham, and said it was one of the best shows. Some people have already booked up for next year.
“Stallholders did well, too, and we have had good feedback from everyone.”
