Entries wanted for children's scarecrow competition

CHILDREN can enter a scarecrow competition in Wivenhoe this weekend.

The Wivenhoe Allotments and Gardens Association is holding its annual show on Saturday.

A regular feature of the show, which is in its 48th year, is a children’s scarecrow competition which will be judged on the morning of the show.

The event takes place at the William Loveless Hall, in Wivenhoe High Street, with doors opening at 2.15pm.

To enter pick up a form from 17 Heath Road or 62 Rectory Road, Wivenhoe. Entry to the competition is free.
