Teams search for dementia sufferer

POLICE, coastguard and lifeboat teams searched for a dementia patient who went missing last night.
West Mersea Coastguard, Clacton lifeboat and Essex Police launched the search at 11.31pm when the care home resident, aged 80, went missing in Rowhedge.
She had already been missing for two hours when the coastguard were contacted, but fortunately was found safe and well before units arrived on scene.
