YOUNGSTERS kicked off their summer holidays by meeting one of Colchester’s Olympic torchbearers.
Children aged five to 11 enjoyed sports, games and bouncy castle fun at High Woods Leisure Centre yesterday.
They also met Tracy McGill, a kickboxing instructor who carried the Olympic torch when it came to Colchester on July 6. Youngsters were given the chance to hold her torch.
The event kicked of a busy summer holiday programme at Colchester’s leisure centres.
