Man arrested on suspicion of manslaughter

A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter following an unexplained death.
Police were called by paramedics to a flat on St Andrew's Avenue at 8pm on July 1 following reports a man was ill, and discovered the body of Tom Sadler-Smith, 26.
A post-mortem was carried out yesterday but further teste are now being carried out to ascertain the cause of death.
A Colchester man, 28, was arrestes yesterday on suspicion of manslaughter and has been bailed until Saturday September 8 pending further police enquiries.
Essex Police said the death was still being treated as unexplained.
