Crews called to oven blaze

FIRE crews were called after a cooker burst into flames in Stanway.
The incident occurred in Tollgate Court, London Road at around 2.06pm on Wednesday.
Firefighters from Colchester extinguished the blaze by 2.29pm.
The flat was left heavily smoke logged.
