BURGLARS have stolen a rare foreign coin during a raid on a Colchester home.
Crooks broke into a house in Mercers Way between 4pm and 5.30pm yesterday (Friday May 18) after forcing their way in through a rear door.
Once inside they ransacked the house and stole a Turkish "besibirlik" soverign and a four-figure sum of cash.
