Burglars steal confidential data as primary school burgled for the third time

A SAFE containing confidential pupil and parent data has been stolen during the third burglary at a primary school in six months.

Thieves smashed their way through the front door of Ardleigh St Mary’s Primary School, in Colchester Road, at about 11pm yesterday.

They took money, cheque books, computer back-up files, pupil and parent data and passwords after ripping a safe off the wall.

Anyone with information call Colchester police station on 101.

Scumbags! However surely the School need to look at their security. Seems like they are a soft touch to be repeatedly targeted.

There's never any police around and at 11pm Ardleigh is asleep. It takes 5 seconds to get in grab things and get out. So many schools are being robbed its disgusting. I hope someone dobs in these sc*mbags although no doubt they'd only get a smack on the wrist if that did happen.
