Man injured in seafront attack

A MAN was injured after he was attacked on Clacton seafront.
Police were called to Marine Parade West at 2pm on Sunday after reports a 30-year-old man had been assaulted.
An off duty police officer helped the man with the injury until on-duty officers arrived to take over.
An Essex Police spokesman said he had suffered a neck injury.
Officers are currently searching the area for the suspected attacker.
