FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house fire in Clacton on Sunday.
The house, on Hudson Close, was smoke logged and a smoke detector triggered the alarm at 3.25pm.
It is thought the fire started in the kitchen after a pan was left on the cooker.
Crews put out the blaze in five minutes and used a fan to clear the house of smoke.
It is not known what caused the fire and no one was injured.
