A CONVICTED killer is hoping people power will be decisive in his bid for freedom.
Jeremy Bamber has launched what he has called “Freedom Fortnight” in which he is asking supporters to lobby to Home Secretary Theresa May and Kier Starmer, the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Bamber, who was jailed for life for the murders of his parents Nevill and June Bamber, his sister Sheila Caffell and her twin sons Nicholas and Daniel, is vying for the go-ahead for a third appeal against his conviction.
Two previous High Court appeals into the killings at White House Farm in Tolleshunt D’Arcy have been rejected.
