A RISING dance star has thanked his community for supporting him by holding a workshop for children and teenagers.
Chris Childs, aka Crazy Popper, reached the final stages of the TV show, Got to Dance, on Sky 1 earlier this year.
The ex-warehouse worker, 23, of Chaplin Drive, Colchester, has now quit his job and is preparing to move to London, to pursue his dream of being a professional dancer.
He held the one-off dance workshop, teaching body popping and street dancing techniques at the Greenstead Community Centre, in Hawthorn Avenue.
