Tendring Show: 22,000 enjoy country show

The event saw temperatures top 30-degrees, but about 22,000 people still descended upon the village of Lawford for the ever popular annual agricultural show.

Competitors battled it out for glory in the cattle, sheep and horse classes while the audience enjoyed displays ranging from dance performances to birds of prey shows.

Crowds packed round the arena to enjoy the Chariots of Fire Display team and shoppers endulged in some retail therapy at the varied craft, plant, food and art stalls.
