TALENTED artist Doris Walker is exhibiting her latest works at a south Essex library - at the age of 93.
The exhibition began on Saturday at Benfleet library and features watercolours and hand-painted greeting cards.
Mrs Walker, of Crowstone Road, Westcliff, also paints pictures on unwanted CDs, which are popular gifts.
Paintings are for sale from £25 to £75 at the exhibition.
A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the Southend Blind Welfare Association to benefit visually impaired residents of Elkington House in Imperial Avenue, Westcliff.
Councillor Iris Pummell, cabinet member for community services at Essex County Council, said: "Essex Libraries are pleased to welcome Doris Walker back to South Benfleet Library.
"The work she produces is truly charming and worthy of admiration - she is a fantastic example for all of us."
