Young Suzanne Noonan is set to start her new school term studying for an AS-level in German - after scooping top GCSE marks at just 12!
The Billericay School student, of Tensing Gardens, Billericay, has wowed her parents and school teachers by bagging an A* grade in the exam.
The youngster took the tough national test four years before expected and came out with glowing results.
After spending four years living in Germany, Suzanne's mother Siobhan suggested to staff at the school, in School Road, her daughter test her skills.
Mrs Noonan said: "I am so very proud of Suzanne.
"We came back from Germany last August and she was speaking the language fluently.
"We just thought it would be best for her to try the exam while it was all fresh and natural to her."
Success - Suzanne Noonan shows off her results
