Danbury Badminton Club has been part of the sports and social scene in Danbury for over 25 years, and has gone from strength to strength in recent seasons.
Playing originally in the village hall until the late 1980's, the club moved over to the new sports centre with its excellent playing facilities; having played a role in its funding and specification.
The Danbury club has raised its standard of badminton to a level where they now play in division one of the Chelmsford League for both ladies and men, and division two and four for the mixed teams.
