The world-famous Red Arrows were winging their way to Clacton today.
The renowned aerobatic display team were due to be the highlight of the Clacton Air Show at 4.40 this afternoon, dazzling 25,000 people along the seafront with their daring stunts.
On Thursday the show got off to a successful start with wingwalkers, a Battle of Britain flypast sponsored by Essex County Newspapers, and a Harrier jump jet.
Mike Duncan, pilot for the wingwalkers, said: "Clacton for us is a great place because it is a great arena. There is a natural back drop with the pier, it's ideal."
Mick Page, chairman of Tendring Council's Regeneration Committee, said: "It is doing a lot of good work for the town."
