If you're feline in need of four-legged companion like pretty pussy Morley, then pop along to a special re-homing day organised by the Southend Cats Protection League.
It is being held at the Rocheway Centre in Rocheway, Rochford, on Saturday and members of the public can go along and meet around 20 cats in need of good homes.
Sue Ingram, of the Cats Protection League, explained the day is designed to match the right cat with the right person.
She said: "We have hired one of the halls at the Rocheway Centre and the cats will all be in cages, like a proper cat show, so people can meet them all."
Morley is just one of the cats who will be at the open day.
He is white with tabby patches and has the special trick of climbing up peoples' backs and draping himself around their necks.
Sue said he was found wandering around Morley's Nurseries in Southend Road, Great Wakering, hence his name.
The show is open to the public from 12.30pm and admission costs 25p.
