St Martin's School of Hanging Hill Lane, Hutton Under 13 boys' trampoline team were triumphant when they recently won a place in the National Finals of the British Schools Gymnastics Association trampoline competition.
The school had two teams competing in the semi-final round of the competition, which was held in Port Talbot, South Wales.
The girl's Under 15 team: Sam Wilson, Gemma Luxford, Emily Fitch and Erin Johnston competed well, but narrowly missed qualifying.
However, the boys' team of Andrew Bonner, Vincent Kenny, Craig Paveley and Ryan Edkin won second place in their group and a place in the finals.
"We are very proud of both teams, as they have been training hard," said Mrs Cripps, head of PE. "We wish our Under 13 boys' team the best of luck in the final round of the competition."
The team is looking forward to travelling to Wiltshire later this month to represent St Martin's School in the National Finals.
