The appropiately named D Winters cracked a hat-trick as Arctic beat the freezing weather conditions to triumph 3-1 over Carlyle Sports 2nd in the Southend Sunday League Division Seven.
In the Eighth Division, J Adkins was the unluckiest player of the day. He grabbed four goals for Hullbridge Sports 3rd - but they still finished on the losing side.
They were beaten 10-5 by Magpie Rangers with both G Pope and C Peacock grabbing hat-tricks.
Sorrento Sports and Panthers VOB shared the spoils at 1-1 in Division Five, while Bennett's goal saw Kingston Ath 2nd beat their South Benfleet United counterparts in Division Six.
