Managing directors Tim Price, of J L French Ltd UK, and John Bradley, of French Kier, showed visitors around the 7,000 square feet of the new J L French factory in Freebournes Road, Witham, on Friday.
Built by French Keir, the factory is part of a £20 million regeneration scheme which will lead to jobs for up to 30 people by this summer, rising to 200 people over the next 10 years. The company makes aluminium diecast components for the car industry.
The firm, formerly Morris Ashby Casting, is to invite job applications from trainees at an open day on May 20.
