The funeral of referee Mike North will be held at Witchampton Methodist chapel in Dorset at 12 noon next Wednesday.
The 41-year-old Poole official died after collapsing from a suspected heart attack during Southend's Third Division match against Mansfield Town on Monday.
Blues boss David Webb will be going to the father-of-two's funeral and a member of the Shrimpers' supporters club trust could join him.
A Southend spokesman said: "We have been in contact with Mr North's wife and she wanted to express her thanks to the people who have contacted Roots Hall to offer their condolences and have also sent flowers to the ground."
