Preparations for this year's community show on the Dengie are well advanced.
The group that staged Hopes and Dreams last year will be rehearsing for the next show entitled Dangerous Journey during the week commencing August 4 - but they are still short of a rhythm guitarist.
"Any local person over the age of 11 is welcome to join us on stage to act, dance or sing," said organiser Ann Barrettt.
She added: "There are no auditions and rehearsals begin at Asheldham Youth Centre on Saturady August 4 at 2pm. During the afternoon we will learn all the songs and then enjoy a free barbecue.

Performances will be at St Peter's High School, Burnham from August 9-11 at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. Tickets are £5 and £1 concessions available from 01621 772689
