Table tennis duo Cathy Eakin and Ray Sutton have pulled off a historical treble.
The pair who train at Drapers Farm in Maldon have won the mixed doubles in the Southend League, the Basildon League and the Burnham League.
This is coupled with Eakin's own clean sweep, winning each competition she has taken part in.
"As far as we know it's the first time that anyone has won all of those mixed double titles," said Eakin.
"It has been a tremendous success because we have come up against players who are ranked higher than both of us."
