Sports Bar, Basildon, have failed to gain a place in the First Division of the Vic Harris Snooker League.
After finishing third in Division Two, Sports Bar took on Romford, third from bottom in Division One, in a play-off.
But Romford kept their spot in the top flight with a 7-5 success.
In the Division One singles Lee Farebrother (Executive A) beat Daniel Dimolfetta (Pockets A) 4-1, while the Division Two prize went to Danny Few (Riley's/Regent), who overcame Wayne Kemp (Grays Sportsman) 3-2.
Marlton and Piper (Basildon A) won the Division One doubles 3-1 over Mann and Ward (Basildon A).
And the Division Two doubles went to Harvey/Leaver (Westcliff B). They beat Walker/Hammond (Riley's Regent) 3-2.
The end of season presentations are at Riley's Exclusive, Leigh, on Saturday, with special guest Willie Thorne. The evening gets underway at 7.30pm.
