Heybridge Swifts boss Keith Martin believes things are looking brighter at Scraley Road.
Martin has been in talks with players in a bid to secure their services for this coming season.
He said: "I had a bit of work to do when I got here because the previous manager, Colin Hill, had made a number of loan signings which made things a bit thin on the ground.
"So I've been talking to the current crop of players and they are all committed which is really encouraging.
"When I first arrived here things were a bit misty, but now I can start to see the light coming through."
