A celebratory cake was cut to help mark the official opening of Clacton's new improved Citizens' Advice Bureau (Cab).
Clacton MP Ivan Henderson cut the ribbon to mark the opening of the new bureau in the town's Carnarvon Road.
The building was bought and refurbished with a £330,000 grant from the lottery community fund.
Tendring Council chairman Christine Turner and Cab staff also attended the event.
