The King George V playing fields rocked to the sounds of a range of music when a local Glastonbury met Woodstock.
A reveller enjoys the Wivenhoe Festival.
This year's Wivstock - Wivenhoe's annual May fair - attracted hundreds of people.
For the first time, the event included a main and an acoustic stage, where the cream of local talent performed.
Bands on the main stage included retro funksters FuzzFace, homegrown indie boys Hyde and headliners Nu Blues.
On the acoustic stage were members of the Wivenhoe Folk Club, Tony Woodleigh and Wivenhoe poet Martin Newell.
Adding an international flavour was Claude Bourbon from across the channel lovingly known as the Frog with the Blues.
A dance tent featured some of the area's best-known club DJs and dance acts.
Against the eclectic musical background there was a huge array of stalls, including recycled clothes, hammocks, body art, books and crafts.
