A fundraiser has chosen an appropriate way to support a sustainable transport charity.
Gemma Slaven, from Tiptree, will run, cycle and swim her way to her £1,000 target for Sustrans at today's Mazda London Triathlon.
The 26-year-old, who works for the Essex Wildlife Trust as a project officer, said she was keen to raise money for the charity.
She said: “They do amazing work to create new cycle paths, like the one between Birch and Colchester.
“I thought it would be nice to give something back.”
