SPARKS will fly in an exciting display of robot combat which is set to once again fill out Charter Hall in Colchester over an action-packed weekend.
The Extreme Robots combat event will return to the city giving residents the opportunity to enjoy adrenaline-fuelled robot combat sending sparks and machinery flying.
The franchise, formerly known as Robot Wars, heralds itself as being the only touring robot show in Europe with specialist robots with giant blades spinning at more than 100mph.

This year's events will see enormous robots battling it out to win the coveted belt, with the house robots on hand to ensure sparks fly.
The imposing house robots boast an arsenal of weapons, from flamethrowers to pincers, to 40kg hammers and even a giant sword.
The event will take place on September 16 and 17, with several showtimes available over the two days.
