The company’s data analysts have assessed each area’s chances of surviving a Shawn of the Dead-style apocalypse.
In the event the dribbling undead to descend on north Essex, Colchester should not fare too badly, according to the findings.
The results consider Colchester to be the 38th safest city in the country, although we’d still advise battening down the hatches.
The researchers have formed their conclusions having looked at the vulnerability, hideouts, supplies, hazards, safety and mobility of 306 areas.
A spokesman for Rentola said: “The recent years have seen a multitude of problems afflicting the world.

“Therefore, if you do not reside in the safest city, it may be wise to consider relocation in the event of a global zombie outbreak.”
