GARDENERS will share their labours of love at a special open gardens weekend.
More than 30 horticulturalists are opening their gardens in Brightlingsea in the 16th event of its kind.
Entrance to the gardens is by programme costing £4 and organisers hope to raise a substantial amount for St Helena Hospice.
The open garden weekend is on June28 and 29 from 10am to 5pm each day.
Programmes can be bought in advance from Brian House newsagents, Gardenworld, Spirals and Spar Stores in Brightlingsea or from All Saints Church or any participating garden on the day.
There will also be direction signs to point visitors in the right direction and gardens will be easily identifiable as they will display a windmill outside.
The town will also play host to a number of scarecrows who will be decorating the town over the same weekend.
