Popular children's author Jack Trelawny has been doing his bit to boost children's love of story writing.
The man behind the Kernowland books spent the day with youngsters at Waterstone's Culver Precinct branch in Colchester.
In addition to running two creative writing workshops, he signed copies of his three books - The Crystal Pool, Darkness Day and Invasion of Evil - which detail the adventures of siblings Tizzie and Louis.
