WOMEN had a chance to revamp their wardrobes and raising cash for good causes at a clothes swap event.
The swap was organised by pals Hannah Brown, 22, and Donna Wheeler, 27, and attracted about 50 women to the Cowdray Centre, Colchester, carrying with armfuls of clothes.
They paid an entrance fee and exchanged their old clothes for tokens, which they could then swap for items brought in by others.
Donna and Hannah organised the event in aid of Age UK and Dementia UK and raised about £350.
Hannah said: “It was really exciting seeing what everyone brought in. I brought some of my stuff, too. It went really well.
Everyone left with something new.”
