Coastguard teams were called to help a yacht which was dragging its anchor.
At about 7.30am yesterday, Thames Coastguard tasked the West Mersea RNLI lifeboat and the South Woodham coastguard team to help the yacht with one person on board in the River Blackwater.
The lifeboat helped the skipper with raising its anchor then towed the yacht to a mooring in Mersea Quarters.
