TWINS Jamie and Morgan David were so upset by TV images of sick children they created their own artwork to helpt them The five-year-olds’ mum Louise, 35, said: “They were watching Comic Relief and the footage of the babies with malaria who were dying and didn’t have mosquito nets really upset them.

“They kept talking about it and wanted to make some money to help the childen.

They decided they could paint pictures and sell them."

The twins set about creating what they felt were happy pictures of sunshine and rainbows.

Mrs David said: “We thought family members would buy them and that would be enough. We put them on Facebook and friends asked for them and it has grown from there. Jamie and Morgan are very compassionate children and seem to have a lot of empathy for other people. I am proud of them.”

The twins have been painting pictures on demand and have raised more than £125.

Mrs David said the family home in Lexden now had about 40 pictures , ready to be laminated and sold for £2.50 each, the same cost as a mosquito net.
