MAUI: A Hawaiian paradise honeymoon turned into a hellish ordeal for a California engineer who lost his new bride to a shark attack and spent two days stranded on an uninhabited island.
Mark Monazzami, 39, was airlifted from the island of Kahoolawe, where he called for help on an old military phone. His wife Nahid, 29, bled to death in his arms after a shark bit off her arm when their kayak capsized.
