Thousands of runners to take part in Colchester Half Marathon today
THOUSANDS of runners will take part in the Colchester Half Marathon today.
The annual race, which is now in its fifth year, will raise money for Essex Headway.
The race starts at 9am at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
Runners will head along Boxted Road, Mile End Road and up North StationRoad towards the town centre.
The route then takes the field up North Hill, into the High Street, down East Hill and up Ipswich Road.
The second half of the course cuts through Severalls Business Park and into Boxted and Langham, wending its way back to the stadium.
