COLCHESTER MP Sir Bob Russell mocked the Conservatives’ geography during a session at the House of Commons.

Lib Dem Sir Bob poked fun at a map the Tories released pointing to “Colchester”, as it is too close to the coast for his liking.

He asked leader of the house William Hague, during the business statement, whether it was “possible to have time for a quick debate on the geogaphy of the United Kingdom”.

Mr Hague laughed if off, pointing to the scale of the map. Will Quince, the Tory’s parliamentary candidate for Colchester, accused Sir Bob of wasting taxpayers’ time and money with “petty party political nonsense”.
