MP’s plea on first aid
THE Government has again been urged to make first aid training part of the school curriculum.
Sir Bob Russell, MP for Colchester and chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary First Aid Group, raised the point during education questions in the Commons.
Education Secretary Nicky Morgan, said she agreed first aid skills were important – but declined to agree with Sir Bob they should form part of the curriculum.
