TWO new restaurants will open in Colchester in the next month, creating 50 jobs and saving 30 more.
When the Middletons Steakhouse and Grill opens up on North Hill on October 31, 30 of the 45 staff will have been taken on from Strada, the former occupiers of the 17th century building until it closed last month.
Meanwhile, the ill-fated Glasshouse Brasserie in Haven Road, the Hythe, is undergoing a £200,000 renovation by new owners TLC Inns, which is transforming it into a Grand Central American bar and grill.
