COLCHESTER Council has published a video intending to sell the borough to businesses looking to invest here.
The two minute 21 second video features footage of places seen as draws to the borough, including Colchester Castle, High Woods Country Park, Essex University and Firstsite.
It is part of a campaign which is inviting new and existing businesses to "be part of our journey". Accompanying it will be factsheets highlighting Colchester success stories and the support available to new and budding entrepreneurs.
But it provoked a bemused reaction after it was launched on Twitter, with people asking why it omitted to mention Colchester's independent shops - or its traffic.
