BURGLARS stole bikes from autistic adults before vandalising their study centre driveway.
Nine cycles were taken from a shed at the Jigsaw Centre, run by Autism Anglia, in Gosbecks Road, Colchester.
It was one of a series of burglaries, which also included builders’ merchant Kent Blaxill, in nearby Layer Road.
Police are appealing for information and the centre hopes kind-hearted residents may donate replacement bikes.
The break-ins took place overnight between Saturday, September 20 and Sunday, September 21.
Anyone with information should call Colchester police on 101. To donate a bike, call the centre on 01206 561877.
