A COLCHESTER hospice threw open the doors of its fifth shop in the town.
St Helena Hospice, based in Highwoods, opened the Magdalen Street shop on Monday and customers were able to grab a bargain to celebrate.
Clothes, including trousers, tops and jackets were on the rails for as little as £1.
The section is set to become a permanent feature.
Kids were also entertained by hospice mascot, Dandy Lion.
Indi Allen, head of retail at the hospice, said: “The response to the £1 range has been incredibly positive, with old and new customers snapping up some fantastic deals.
“Due to the nature of our business, the stock is all unique and constantly changing, so we are confident that savvy buyers will be returning again and again to scoop up the incredible offers for themselves and their families.”
