THE annual meeting of Colchester Hospitals Trust will feature displays from a host of support groups.
The Annual Members meeting, which takes place at Colchester General Hospital next Thursday, September 11, will start with formal business, including a rundown of the trust’s financial and medical performance over the last year.
Afterwards there will be a talk by trust lead governor David Linghorn-Baker followed by a general discussion on the role governors play within the trust, which also runs Essex County Hospital.
Finally, there will be displays and information from Macmillan Information Centre, the trust’s organ donation committee, the Gastro-Intestinal Cancer Support Group, critical illness support group ICUsteps, Colchester Myeloma Support Group and North East Essex Urology Cancer Support Group.
The meeting will be the last attended by Dr Sally Irvine, the trust’s chairman, who steps down this month.
The meeting runs from 4pm to 7pm. Call 01206 742733 if you wish to attend.
