POLICE are investigating an incident where two men were assaulted in Clacton.
Officers were called to Orwell Road in the early hours of Saturday after reports of a disturbance.
Once they arrived they found two men being treated by the ambulance service.
A 21-year-old man from Wickford was treated for a fractured jaw, broken nose and several lost teeth after he was punched and fell against a wall.
The other man, a 25-year-old from Chelmsford was knocked unconscious and taken to hospital to be checked out. He was later discharged.
The suspect can only be described as a white man wearing a ripped white t-shirt and black jeans.
Anyone with information about the circumstances leading up to the incident or any other information should contact DC Luke Howard at Clacton CID on 101.
