Homes without water due to damaged pipe

First published in News

RESIDENTS in parts of Colchester have been without water this afternoon after a main pipe was damaged.

Homes in the CO3 area, including Stanway, have been affected since about 11.45am.

Anglian Water has said a third party working in the area damaged the pipe.

Work to redirect water from other areas has been carried out, and water should start coming back on soon.

But they have warned that the system takes a while to reboot, so it could take up to two hours.

If people are still without water in an hour they should call 08457145145.

Anglian Water has apologised for any inconvenience caused.

Health & Safety at Colly Council blind eyes to the right ! ! !
The water is now cloudy for a couple of minutes, so have they put some thing in it?
