A HUNDRED rioting youths attacked police with bottles in Rowhedge.

The violence took place on the recreation ground in Rectory Road on Saturday just before 6pm.

Earlier in the day families had been enjoying the Rowhedge Regatta and, while the trouble did not spill over into the regatta, organisers are worried they may have to cancel in future years.
